Uninstalling WLM 2009

I installed the new messenger last night...but now I want it gon
because I like the old one. So I went to uninstall it by going t
change/remove programs but it wasn't there. So i deleted everything fro
my computer that has to do with windows live messenger...there's not
single file left. But when I go to install the older version, it said
still have the new version. And when I put this code (which is suppose
to manually uninstall windows live messenger):

msiexec /x {B1403D7D-C725-4858-AACC-7E5FA2D72859}

in the run program...it says there's nothing to uninstall...All i ca
say is URG! can someone help me get msn off of my computer for good so
can get the old version back!

Greetings,

The GUID (the numbers and letters) is different for every release generally. The one you
have specified is for the beta release, not the last version. The version you have
installed, would be uninstalled by using:
msiexec /x {0AAA9C97-74D4-47CE-B089-0B147EF3553C}

If you're still having problems, you can forcibly uninstall by using my ZapMessenger utility:
