I'm not sure it's random. Since last night, every time I get online, I
can tell something is downloading. I go to click on my first link and
IE freezes and I have to restart. I thought it was my clunky Windows
98SE computer or a virus.
Same thing happened at work today with the Windows XP computer except
it wouldn't let me open anything until the security updates were
completely downloaded. The one program I got opened did freeze and I
couldn't get the computer to shut down so I had to press my power
button to turn the pc off. I don't know if the updates installed
properly.
You'd think they could alert people about this update and warn us about
opening websites or programs during download.
There is definitely a problem with the download. It is using a large
amount of computer resources.
