Clever idea, shaardz. Good work-around for a stupid problem.

Steve,

Maybe you can help me, I see you've helped many others. I have the
irritating "ghost email" that has been in my inbox for two months now. When
previewing the email it says there is nothing to be displayed. It cannot be
deleted, moved to another folder, nothing. I have tried using the alt, E, D,
and that doesn't work for me. Any other suggestions?

There was a suggestion in another topic to Flag the phantom messages
and then customize the view to not display the phantom, flagged
messages. This doesn't get rid of them, but at least they don't
clutter up your mailbox.

New Vista software on new computer. Emails are NOT being sent (or rec'd by
designated recipient).
(1) message cannot be deleted from OUTBOX, (the remaining 22 have been moved
to draft folder.) A pop up says that this message
cannot be displayed because of low memory or disc space; (highly unliikely).
Does anybody know what I need to do to DELETE this message which appears to
be interfering with sending ALL of my emails, (and causing my family members
to
think I don't love them anymore?).
Thanks!

Same here, and the exact same problem with Windows Mail. I use Comcast, so
I go into the Comcast homepage and there they are. I get them, but this is
absurd that I have a new $1000. Dell and it won't work. Jean Morris
