How to unlink an account

I erred and linked my Hotmail account to my Verizon account, and now I can't
unlink them. Is there a way?

Do you mean that you linked two LiveIDs? If so, go to http://account.live.com
with the primary LiveID and you can unlink the accounts and/or link other
LiveIDs.
