Unlocking selection

I suppose I'm like others, trying to unlock a document so as to do some
modifications I have the template in Word to produce an invoice for my small
piano/keyboard entertainment business...problem is, it's locked some way.
Where can I go from here??

try microsoft.public.office.misc or microsoft.public.word

Sounds like what you are trying to do is unlock the template, once you have
opend the .dot file?

In Word 2003, look in Tools | Unprotect Document. Do a little search in
Help on how to Protect Forms when done - otherwise you may end up with a
nonfunctioning invoice. Save a copy before working on it.
