Hello,

I have an iPaq 5550 with Windows Mobile 2003 (English version).
Could anyone help me with the following problem?
When I synchronize (with ActiveSync 3.7.1) my iPaq with my desktop pc on
which Outlook XP is installed, I get 1 unresolved item.
When I make an new (mail) map in my Inbox (on the desktop pc) and I place
all of the e-mails from my Inbox to this new map I still get 1 unresolved
item when I synchronize. I am synchronizing only the Inbox, so no other
subfolder of the Inbox is synchronized. I find this very strange, because
there is nothing to synchronize and still ActiveSync is telling me that there
is 1 unresolved item.
I also run the "Inbox Repair Tool" (Scanpst.exe), but this tool did not find
any problems...so the problem remains.

By the way, this is the entry of the problem in the "wcesmgr.log":

2004-12-15 16:59:29 00000B28 - WARNING: Processing NACK: FromDevice: 1,
[SSPId: 0x10000, Oid: 0x00003C4B, Hr: 0x80070057, Flags: 0x80000000]
2004-12-15 16:59:29 00000B28 - Failed to sync a [Merlin Mail, 0, 0x3C4B]
object because of error 0x80070057
2004-12-15 16:59:29 00000B28 - One Merlin Mail item [Vol: 0, Oid:
0x00003C4B] flagged, SyncType: LOCAL_DEL

I hope somebody can help me..
Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Sander.

Hi Sander,

First uncheck the Inbox option in ActiveSync and then sync... then check the
option again and attempt another sync. See if that solves the problem or
else try recreating the partnership. To delete the existing partnership ---

1. Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2. In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3. Connect the device and follow the onscreen instructions to setup a new
partnership.
