Unwanted update message

For the last week or so, each time I shut down the computer (running XP Home
sp2), I get a message that 1 update is being installed. Even if I shut down
several times per day, that same message comes up each time. I am getting a
little tired of waiting for this "update" to install every time. Anyone have
a solution?

And the KB number of the update in question is?
Check your event log (Start -> Run -> eventvwr.msc [Enter/OK]).

The number is KB936181. Each time it indicates a successful configuration,
but next time I shut down, it does it again.

You've installed KB941833 and KB931681 is still beeing offered
as needed *on the Windows Update site*? Please verify that (again)
by vistiting the Windows Upate site and running a "User defined
search" there: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

I went into Control Panel and removed the two (?) instances of KB936181.
That seems to have solved the problem. I have installed KB941933. Anyway, I
am not getting the "update install" message when I shut down.
