You may have a defective or damaged keyboard.
WHAT WAS SPILLED ON IT?
I would be very tempted to call the manufacturer and see if there is a
replacement available.
IF you have real world experience with electronics, you 'may' be able to
remove the keyboard and clean it, then reinstall it.
If you have any doubt as to how, seek a professional repair shop to do it.
To me, that means someone other than the amatuers at Geek Squad.
