I think you mean 930916 rather than 930986, but in any case, there's no
reason for any of those updates to have affected video. I assume that
Windows Update did not send a video driver update at the same time?
One way of forcing the Flash player to refresh itself it to open:
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files
then right-click on "Shockwave Flash Object" and select "Update".
You can test both the Flash and the Shockwave viewers by visiting:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
You could try checking any settings for your video card, or even updating
the drivers for your video card, from the manufacturer's support site.
