Update and firewall removal???

I want to remove Auto Update, and windows firewall, as these apps are
creating probs for the rest of my apps, I had trouble removing/installing
programs after the updates on 11/04/2007, "installer patch not found", I
removed the latest updates from windoes, then I could install and remove as
normal.
I want to rid my puter of the update service and firewall, because I find
them intrusive, and they monopilise resources when they are not allowed to
"play" with the rest of windows, and my PC acts like a stubborn little kid.
These are reasons windows is BAD....

ANYONE?? I need help. the service cannot be removed, turn it off, and it
says "Turn me On", using scare tactics to keep windows firewall on, and
updates going, is not how I anticipated a computing environment to be
like..... I find it frustrating....

Buy a Mac.

this is true Pa, I have in the last two days seen a Car " Toyota, Vista", But
its not very stable either....
