I need to configure my network firewall router with the IP addresses for all
the servers necessary to permit updates.

I seem to recall many moons ago reading something about this but cannot find
it.

Does anyone know exactly what IP range needs to be permitted, outgoing and
incoming, for updates to work or have any idea where I might find this?

For security reasons, Windows Update does not maintain a static
IP address.

"Security" LMAO. Microsoft Update uses Akamai for load shedding. Security has
nothing at all to do with it. Similarly, the pages of responses from
Microsoft staff advising users to "turn off your firewall" while running
update has nothing at all to do with security.
