Update and Thunderbird email client

Hello,
Ever since I did the update Thursday evening - my Thunderbird is unable to
connect to pop.cox to retrieve my mail. It appears on the Thunderbird
discussion forum that others have noticed the same "coincidence". What can
be done? Thanks!
