update causes display driver to stop and then blue screen

The latest updates [8th may 2007] caused my display driver to fail and then
a blue screen each time I click on Internet explorer or Messenger.[ pentium
4, 2gb ram , radeon 9550,Vista Ultimate. ] with all drivers and updates up
to date.

Restoring to before the update resolved the problem, has anybody else found
a similar problem?

Hi there,

You should monitor your downloads and NOT take any driver updates from WU,
if a driver is really needed because the hardware is not working well than
download it from the manufacturers website.
