Vista often doesn't seem to install properly for some unknown reason. I
reformatted and reinstalled Vista 3 times on one of my machines until I
finally got it ot work properly. So reformat and reinstall and make sure
that your installation disk is clean.
You can't repair corrupted files. OK, maybe if you're a Microsoft Windows
Engineer with the source code to work with you'll be successfull. People
like us just re-install.
