Update Delete the Network Connections

Yesterday (AUG 4th) at morning or equipments download the updates of that day
and Voilá! ALL THE NETWORK CONNECTIONS disapear, we had to restore the
systems to the day before (Aug 3rd).

Is there a comment from microsoft about it? I didn't see nothing.......

Someone else have same problem and/or solution?

Almost exactly,
After upgrading to SP2 some windows updates wipe out my "network
connections" folder.
No icons in the folder and could not create new ones. Several
services/programs stopped functioning also, most visible is Norton Antivirus.
Only resolution found was to restore to previous setting. All the
recommended fixes on the Microsoft website did not resolve the issue.
I found that if I install the updates one at a time it happens less
frequently.
