When I try to start the update downloads, nothing happens. The button
depresses but nothing happens. I tried the trobleshoot fix, but that didn't
help. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Try deleting all cookies and temp internet files. Remove all spyware and
adware from your system. This cured my problems with update.

Hi there, just some suggestions -

Downloadable McAfee AVERT Stinger (if so using another computer) and run it
if possible:
Stinger: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a
substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist
administrators and users when dealing with an infected system. Stinger
utilizes next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning,
digitally
signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizations.

Perhaps an online security/virus check

There is also a Newsgroup specifically for viruses/spyware you may wishÂ* to

Good luck
