Update driver for wireless adapter

Hi Gurus, all,

I'm having dificulty access internet through my wireless setup. When I try
to turn on the wireless access, my computer gives the resonse :

Unable to change power state of 802.11 wireless radio.
Update the driver for the wireless adapter.

I tried performing a windows update but was told by the windows website that
all my software do not require updates.

What can I do ?
