Thanks, TaurArian...
Yes, the driver was already installed via HP (and from the Manufacturer).
Windows Vista (System Devices) properties (when attempting to install the
driver manually, does the web-search, etc.) and reports back that the "Latest
and Most Current Driver Is Currently Installed".

. I get the same result
from the Manufacturer's Web-Site, when I attempt to re-install the driver
(even a "Remove and RE-Install" process has not cleared the "Error-Message"
from Windows Vista's "Microsoft's-Update Progam.
I've Manually Cleared the "Update-Log" according to "Microsoft's
Instructions" as well, RE-Booted... That didn't work....Did a Complete
Shut-Down, wait for 10 minutes and RE-Start...That didn't work. I still have
the "Windows-Update" icon in my tray. When I either click on it OR goto
Windows-Update, the Results are Still There of the "Failed-Update-Install".
Must be a Glitch with VISTA or Synaptics, is all I can figure at this point.
I'm still searching. When I find it, I'll post back

Thanks.
