this is what i get for more than a month,have no idea what to do.
"some updates were not instaled. Code 8024200D.
windows can't update important files and services while the system is using
them. Save any open files,and then restart the computer"
i have windows vista y the way.
please help. thanks

Are you currently running Vista or Vista SP1? What updates were offered but
not installed?

Error 0x8024200D = SUS_E_UH_NEEDANOTHERDOWNLOAD
The installer requires more data to be downloaded

Depending upon what updates you were trying to install, perhaps you can
manually download them. Downloading the full update and installing manually
works for some. No guarantees.

i only have an active internet connection at college and have to go through a
proxy server to connect to the internet. My updates worked with the proxy
server for about 2 months and when i tried downloading updates again recently
i just keep getting "Error found: Code 0x80072efd" could the proxy server be
the problem?
