Update failed error code 0x8020002B

I have six updates that cannot be installed - see above error code.
I previously had a trojan(Chod) which has been removed but I suspect has left
some damage behind. I also have trouble with blank and incomplete pages in IE,
Firefox and Opera.
Also Google does not always pass results thru.
Any help appreciated.
