Update fails for IE

I have a clean install of Vista x64, and I'm running Update to get everything
up-to date before installing applications. The only thing I've ran is the
NVIDIA drivers for a GeForce 7900 card. This is a Shuttle XPC with a Core 2
Quad.

WU is failing for KB947864 Cumulative update for IE7 in WinVista x64. The
error code is 800F080D, and I can find no information on this.

Any clues?

Search for all files changed by the update attempt which contain that code.
Then, for ones which look as if they would be diagnostic files drag them
to an open Notepad window and look for the context of the code with
*other* messages in those files.

You could also supplement whatever context you find that way
by running ProcMon (e.g. to see what other file and registry accesses
were involved before the WRITE of each log record.
