Can someone please tell me how to rectify this as I can't install critical
updates

Trent you haven't provided any information at all regarding your problem so
I can only give a vague direction -

0x80070005 - Permissions issue. You can reset registry and file ACLs to
their Default state by following the directions here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archi...04/739820.aspx

In future start your own *new* thread and don't hijack another's thread as
their problem most likely is not the same as yours..
