Hi there,
I too am affected by the same problem, and I am about to try the suggestion
by Matt in another thread in this section about shifting the computer out of
the OU that has a SUS policy defined in it.
What has surprised me, or perhaps it is my ignorance in searching the
Micrsosft site, is that I could not find anything about this problem on their
site, yet judging by the number of people affected, i would have thought
there would have been a mention.
I would be really interested in knowing what has casued the problem so that
I can prevent it happening again. I have had SUS working fine for what seems
like years, and all of a sudden something has changed, I suspect as the
result of some update that has been loaded, bacause one of the environments I
look after is static as far as installed applications and AD setup.
Any clues anyone as to the root cause?
