update failures and KB834707

I have read psots here. Still need help. I have cut and pasted below the
snipet from KB834707.log for your perusal. Service Pack 2 was installed Aug
21 of this year. Now my auto update failed every day when it runs on trying
to update this KB834707 file. Suggestions?

looks like
0x80070005
ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED
The authentication method is not supported. -
CoCreateInstance(IBackgroundCopyManager) fails with E_ACCESSDENIED

delete any c:\b11f34b960846a2a451d type folder

in services.msc locate the bits service
look in log on tab, check local system,and make sure the harware pofile is
enable in the lower space. ( try to make service manual)

make sure that you have the permission are set for folders, files:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\bits
C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution

Updates from the Windows Update Web site are not installed and an "Error
0x80070005: Access is denied"
error message is logged to the Windows Update.log file

(you may have to re-install autoupdate service)
