WinXP is not a full Windows version. Since you'd installed (and
uninstalled) WinXP SP3, you must have been running and probably are still
running WinXP SP2.
Are you running IE7 and does your reference to "tab" in your subject (but
not anywhere in your posts) mean IE7 tabs?
Did you install any of those updates via Automatic Updates? The fact that
you installed KB892130 tells me that you did at least some of these updates
via Windows Update website.
You couldn't possibly have downloaded/installed KB936929 (WinXP SP3) and
KB951978 in one session at Windows Update.
The above notwithstanding, start your recovery now by getting WinXP SP3
(only) reinstalled.
