Update gets stuck on Looking for the latest version of Windows pag

Nope. This was a no-go for me. I saw another saying I
should delete the CATROOT2 folder under %SYSTEM%\SYSTEM32

I found a way for my computer to finally get to Windows Update (v.4). Go to
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...en/default.asp (windows update
catalog) or just put windows update catalog in Google. When you get to the
catalog site on the left side of the page there is a "Windows Update" button.
This will run Windows Update (v.4). Hope it works for everyone. Good luck!
