Update Gift

Hi

After the last service pack on ASP framework, All DB based on the framework
where crashed. Mcafee & Windows update where unusable.

Now after reseting all the ASP, Mcafee is running, but I cant run the
version check on windows update site.
Each time it says we need to reinstall and register the modules. I install
all this, I try to install by the others manner too, but nothing better.

This morning the Windows registration run out with the patch ASP !!!, each
day, a new problem with only one Update !!! What is going on ???

Alain,

Try reregistering this file by going to Start > Run, and then type in

regsvr32 msxml3.dll

Click OK or press Enter.
Do the same for msxml4.dll.
You *should* get a confirmation message that the .dll's have been
registered. If not, please post back with any error message.

Restart the system.
If doing the above brings up this error message : " "The Windows
Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are
running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer
is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for
assistance." then read this, please :

"Error 1719: The Windows Installer service could not be accessed" error
message when you try to add or remove a program

If reregistering the msxml3.dll did NOT bring up that error message,
then try Windows Update again.

Sorry but i re-register all "dll" and have no error message, but it doesn't
work anymore... the only one error I saw is in the windowsupdate.log

But i know how to reset all my IE, that is just a question of time, cause I
don't see another solution. (and I check sfc)
I just see a DB corrupted in mcafee and think that is the same in the
Windows update DB. How to restart this without reinstalling all IE and
reseting all this part of registry ????
