I am directed to ensure that two separate services are running, they are. I
am then suggested to register two different dll files, I can register
qmgr.dll but not qmgrproxy.dll... When I run regsvr32 qmgrproxy.dll, I see
this:

LoadLibrary("qmgrproxy.dll") failed - The specified module could not be found.

I searched the C: drive entirely for qmgrproxy.dll but couldn't get a
result, where a search for qmgr.dll yielded two results in the system32
folder.

Can I get this missing dll file somewhere? Please don't say no... please?

As I stated previously, the services that are apparently required for Windows
Update are started. There were two more suggestions for enabling updates;
they were registering two separate dll files. The first dll file registered
but the second did not.

I successfully searched for the first file, but the second was not there.

I wonder if there is a way to recover that dll file. This may be the answer.
