When I click Start->Help and Support->Keep your computer up to date I
get a message checking connection, then nothing, just blank text below
the icons. Windows Update in Internet Explorer also does not work - the
link
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ that is automatically generated
also comes up blank, but it if change it to
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ everthing works.
Am really quite confused as to how I lost both the Help and Support and
IE options for Windows Update. Any suggestions? Thanks.
