Hi Tim,
"working system restore point" = Be sure the System Restore program is
enabled.
There are several application that will interfere with with System Restore
in Normal or Protected Mode causing a restoration to fail
Run a test
Make a RP follow the intruvtions
Wait a few minutes
Now, call the SR program, and select an old RP . Follow the intructions.
You will see a windows with the result. If the program don;t complain, the
RP program is workink OK. Otherwise you can go back to the point you make
before
