Update KB890923 on Win98SE

Running Win98SE. After d/loading KB890923 my computer gives error messages,
memory low messages, and numerous problems with Outlook Express. think I may
have installed wrong version for my computer. The update is not listed in
uninstall. How can I uninstall this?

Answer: Actually, if you let Windows Update choose your updates, the version you
downloaded was INDEED the version for your operating system. Our detection
logic identifies your operating system and makes comparisons before providing an
update to your computer.

Answer: Really? You do not see a listing that says: "Internet Explorer
Q890923"? Look here:
1. Click Start
2. Click Settings
3. Click Control Panel
4. Double-click Add/Remove Programs
5. Scroll through the list of installed programs for the "Internet Explorer
Q890923" listing.
6. If you find it, select it and click Add/Remove.

I confirm IE KB890923 is not shown in my Control Panel Add/Remove Programs.
The only one that shows is 891781. When I go into About IE it shows various
updates and the latest being Q890923 followed by Q891781. I installed
KB890923 on Apr 13 and KB891781 on Apr 18. Should I not have installed
KB891781 at all or alternatively should I have installed KB891781 first
followed by KB890923? I uninstalled some of the updates I did on Apr 18 to
see if this would help my problems but has not for the most part. I still
get "not enough free memory to run Outlook Express" messages and freeze ups,
and problems shutting down after this message appears. Everything was
running fine until I installed updates on Apr 13 and April 18. Any solution
to rectify this would be greatly appreciated.
