Amyone having problems with this one. It seems to have shrunk my desktop
background. But my gaddegets are where they should be. Just a black
border on both sides. It says once its loaded it can't be undone. Any

Why Windows Defender update would change you screen?

Having black borders on the side of your desktop is normal IF the wallpaper
your using is not the same size as your screen and the display settings in
desktop background are set to center.

Try this:

Control Panel > Personalization > Desktop Background > at the bottom you'll
see 3 choices: Fit to Screen - Tile - Center : represented by 3 thumbnails.

If centered is picked, then the wallpaper needs to be resized or you can
choose fit to screen (this may distort or cut-off parts of the wallpaper).

I was "messing" around with this yesterday, and I forgot. I want to
thank the only
person that replyed ramanon. Thank you very much. I didn't know how a
defender
update could affect this but I'm glad I asked. Thank You Again
