I tired to download the latest updates yesterday. It was fine on 2 computers
in my home but my main work computer failed to load even 1 of the 14 and hung
the computer. I continued to hang the computer, so, today I have completed a
"repair Windows" from the installation CD-ROM and attempted to re-install the
updates. There were 68 updates but it stopped at 46. KB922616 simply won't
install. I've checked other postings on this site and worked carefully
through the posting from NewScience on 8/23/2006, but can't find that
download\s-1-5-18... . None of my download directories or files in that
subdirectory look anything like what NewScience suggested for allegro.
Any ideas?
