Update KB935807

I cannot get this update to install!! I have gone through all the
suggestions that "Help" has given me to no avail! Any suggestions?

There are some fixes posted on this forum, however can be intimidating to
those that are not real computer literate.
I tried, but did not work for me.

I have hidden that update, in hopes that MS might get their act together ,
and release a fix for it.

Obviously, not much testing went on, with that update.

Read my message 4 posts down this page with the supposed fix directly from
MicroSoft.
I haven't tried it yet though as it seems to be a lot of trouble. Post back
if it works for you.

I've been trying to get this update to install for a month.
I even tried all the options posted on the newsgroup and
with email support no avail! IMO, I think that this Security Update for
Windows Vista (KB935807) is a corrupt download. No matter what you do to
try to fix this, it always Installation status: Failed Error details: Code
80070002.
IMO, I think you all should just hide the update and wait until Microsoft
get their act together and comes up with a patch for this thing.

A month? KB935807 was released 9 July 2007.
Are you quoting the correct KB number?

Sorry about that. I read so mant theads on this board it's very easy to make
an error like that. Yes, I realy ment KB935807. I must have got it confused
with another post. Easy misstake.
