Update (KB936181)

Since 5/27/08 my update record shows that I have successfully installed
"Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Service 4.0 Service Pack 2
(KB936181)" 14 times. Yet every time I turn on my computer, I get the
message "new updates available" and it is alway this same update. How do I
stop this notice?

(KB936181) may repeatedly appear in the update list on Microsoft Update or on
Windows Update
