Good bit of reading there. In my case I am not so sure its just a simple case
of the Registry cleaner has foobared my updates. Before using the cleaner I
did a total backup of the registry AND a system Restore. Restoring the
registry as it was before the cleaner did not resolve the problem, neither
did the system restore, and as I said before..this is the ONLY update that
failed.
