Update keeps repeating KB835732

This update just keeps repeating. It appears to download and go thru the
whole process and gives me a successful message, yet when I look at update
again the same update attempts to install again. This happened several years
ago on a different version of windows and they had me delete a file tht kept
up with the updates which allowed it to rebuild and that corrected the
problem. Does any one know what this file is in the root directory?

I'm having the same problem, except with KBB23353. I would really love a fix
for this.

Hi,

When KB823353 keeps repeating:

If you have the security update KB897715 (MS05-030) installed,
it could be caused by that.

Temporarily uninstall KB897715 (from Add/Remove Programs), and see if
KB823353 (MS04-018) installs successfully. Then install KB897715 again.
