Update Keeps Showing Up

The Microsoft Update "KB936181" keeps showing up, even after a "successful"
installation. Every time I turn off my computer, I have to "install" it
again. I tried re-installing, but I always get an error message about the log
file...

"Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file
location exists and is writable."
