Update lost Winload.exe

I installed the latest update yesterday evening but didn't reboot at that
time. The system did a reboot during the night and failed. The screen was
black with a message that it couldn't find the file winload.exe. It said
that I would need to do a repair from the CD.

I booted from the CD and selected repair and all is well again. This is the
second time I had this problem after an update.

Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just my computer?

I am running Vista Premium in a dual boot configuration with XP-MCE.

I have same problem, error reads= \windows.~BT\windows\system32\winload.exe
and to repair use the reinstall cd, the problem is that I do not have the cd.
How do I repair the problem or get a cd? Thanks for all you help
