I'm looking to provide a mechanism for auto-updating our .NET application.
I'm of course looking into the Updater Application Block as well as .NET
Application Updater as well as potentially looking at what Click-Once will
give us when it becomes available. However, I'm wondering whether it would
make more sense to have one update mechanism and let all applications share
it, including the OS. So is the Windows Update mechanism extensible so that
I can use it to update my own application? If not, is this something that
should be made more generic so that others can make use of it's technology?
