Update MSXML 4.0 SP2 Update (KB927978)

Windows Update has installed Update MSXML 4.0 SP2 Update (KB927978) 26 times
and keeps on asking to update. Are there any known problems with this update?

I guess all we can do is leave the stupid Yellow ! shield in the system tray
until Microsoft gets off their collective asses and acknowledge this. I
realize that they have bigger fish to fry, but this has been going on three
days now, and as far as I know, not even so much as a "MVP" reply.

I am following the instructions from Mow Green. I Was given teh thre options
and chose remove.

How do I get the hotfix? I typed in that long URL, but they said the file
isn't availabe. If I go to microsoft downloads, can I find it there? What
woud the "name" be?

Dot,

You need to install the original MSXML 4.0 SP2 package using the
msxml.msi file before applying the update for it.
Double click it and it should install now.
Restart the system if requested to and then install the update that
Taurarian provided the link for, msxml4-KB927978-enu.exe.
