Update will not prompt me to update to Vista SP 1

I'm running a Sony Vaio laptop with Vista Business. I have all of my Sony
patches and updates up to date with nothing pending.

My Windows Update is set to automatic and there are no pending or
uninstalled updates. However Update will not notify me of the SP1 update
available. Any suggestions?

Windows Vista SP1 is not available for installation from Windows Update and
is not offered by Automatic Updates

Thank you, that explains why it wasn't available. But I noted on a couple of
support areas where it recommended to use Windows Update over download.
