Update NOT required on some servers

I have this problem on a few of the servers in a DEV. The are all set up the
same way and a GPO determinds the same settings for all server.
Most of them get the updates without issues. The WSUS 3.0 console shows that
4 of the servers are missing up to 40 updates. However the log file on these
servers states that no updates are required even tho I know there should be.

Could someone please send me in the right direction?

Either the server needs no updates,
or you have not approved any updates for "correct group",
or the updates for "correct group" have not yet downloaded to the WSUS
Server,
or your "correct group" is not the correct group.
