I know you can get to an update window by clicking on "Windows Update" in the
programs list, <mikedav1>, but my problem is that there does not seem to be
any button for updating on demand. I mean right then and there, not resetting
my options to have the updates downloaded and installed at a particular time
of day. I wish to know how to update on demand.
As with <mikedav1> my orange update shield doesn't show but for a few
seconds at start up if I have missed the first time it showed two or three
start ups ago.
