Sometimes the system says that an install has failed but in fact it has
suceeded. See
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919029 and go to the section
entitled !"How to determine whether the update is installed".
I have the right file version so the update must have installed but the
Microsoft update does not think it is installed. i have no idea why this
might be.
