Update page not allowed AT ALL

At first i thought i was imagining things. But since i remove this crap from
computers for a living and work on 10-15 PC's a day, I'm now sure of it. I
have come across the fourth computer this week that I can surf to ANY website
in the world EXCEPT the windows update page. NO POSSIBLE WAY TO GET TO IT on
these 4 PC's. It simply goes to a blank white page and locks. Any ideas?

Try the reregistering trick - here's a recent post:

Dump TIF - delete the folder if necessary. Post which worked or if not.
