Update Problem for 816093 Microsoft VM

Hi there,
Whenever I try to update the above update produces some sort of error
stating something along the lines of "Can only upgrade and existing version
of Microsoft VM" and then requires me to restart computer and go through the
whole process again.

Can you help me?

This update relates to java - you will not be able to apply this update if
java is not already installed.

To test Java:-

Java Tester: http://javatester.org/
Sun Java - run their test utility here:
http://java.com/en/download/help/testvm.jsp

If you haven't got it, you can get it
Sun version:
http://java.sun.com/getjava/index.html

I originally had the old java and have removed the same and installed the
Sun version.

HI again,
I removed my version of Java (update 4) & reinstalled via the update 6 link
you provided, but am still having the same issue. What should I do next?
