Update Problem for Microsoft VM on XP

I have automatic update enabled and went to install the updates today. On of
the updates is for Microsoft VM, It keeps telling me that it will only
install over an older version and then tells me to restart my computer.
Well I do and then it starts all over again in a never-ending loop of it
telling me I can't update and to restart.
I followed the help links and checked to see if I even have Microsoft VM
installed using command prompt, turns out it isn't even on my Windows XP.
Is this something that is supposed to be on my computer and it somehow got
deleted ?? Also could this be the cause of all my other problems of not being
able to click links and erratic browser behaviour?? Any help or advice is
appreciated. Thanks

Hi

Take a look at this post by Jim Byrd to get some information on how
to add MS JVM to your OS installation::

If you are running Windows XP with no MS JVM installed, start with
installing v. 3805 (disregard that the post say Win2000 SP4, it will
install on WinXP as well).
