update rollup 1 for 2000 service pack 4 (KB891861)

I installed this (update rollup 1 for 2000 service pack 4 (KB891861)) on our
servers running citrix and after the installation, all citrix users were
unable to access outlook 2003. All other applications including office apps
worked just fine. When they clicked to open outlook, it acted as if it was
opening normaly and then flashes saving settings and then goes away. As soon
as I uninstalled this update, outlook began to work correctly again. Has
anyone else had this problem?

I just discovered another problem with this update: after installing it,
most of the time then when you try to save a file to a diskette from within
MSOffice, the process completely hangs up and forces you to manually turn off
the PC - you cannot logoff and you cannot use Task Manager to stop the
process, close Word, or even logff/shutdown the PC. Fortunately, I was able
to uninstall the update and the probem went away. I highly recommend to NOT
install this update. Microsoft either needs to remove it from "Updates" or
fix it.

After installing this update, almost everytime we then tried to save to a
diskette within any MS Office application, the process would completely hang
- you then had to manually turn off the PC.

We found that replacing the fastfat.sys from the uninstall folder fixed
this.
