Update Rollup 2 for windows media cnter edition 2006

I needed to down load media Player 11. when I tried to do it I was ask to
install "Update rollup 2 for windows media enter edition 2005" I can't down
load this update. Always give me a error message.
Anyone can give me a advice?

What exactly is the message?

Ensure that you disable all anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-malware, pop-up
blockers, third-party firewalls, and download accelerators before attempting
a system update. Re-enable Windows Firewall if you disabled a third-party
firewall.

It says "SLD.tmp - Common Language Runtime Debugging service" as the heading
and in detail pane
"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled

Process id=0x8d4 (2260), Thread id= 0Xaf0 (2800)"

I tried as Robin ask me to do but same result.
